  • Strike a balance between coding, supporting team members, and management tasks
  • Coach and guide the development of the team members
  • Conduct regular 1:1 with each team member in order to ensure quality of the code;
  • Responsible for reviewing, critiquing and correcting work from the programming team;
  • Share knowledge, motivate and inspire others to generate new ideas
  • Identify risks and provide relevant solutions to complex problems
  • Create, prioritize, assign and regularly follow up on tasks and the advancement of the team’s work with regards to deliverables, primarily in collaboration with the Technical Project Manager by providing the key info about team member skill set for optimal task assignment
  • Estimate time to accomplish programming tasks and commit to meeting all objectives
  • Ensure that newly developed features and systems meet expectations and is coherent with existing code
  • Collaborate with CTO in defining and establishing architecture and code quality
  • Collaborate with CTO in programming the most important sections of code
  • Ensure your team can work efficiently and identify opportunities for workflow improvements
  • Document your work to transfer knowledge and enable users how to use the new systems and functionalities
  • Know the game’s story and gameplay (game design documents) and know technical and logical constraints so as to be able to lead the team;
  • Take part in performance assessments in collaboration with Technical Project Manager and CTO
  • Help recruit new team members and ensure that new employees integrate the team;


  • At least 3 years of development experience and at least 1 year of Lead Programmer or
    Team Lead work experience;
  • Experience in developing games for mobile platforms is welcome;
  • Excellent programming skills, the ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems of any
  • Confident knowledge of various programming languages, architecture and common
    programming concepts
  • Computer graphics experience is welcome; Python development experience, experience
    with Unity / Unreal engines, as well as knowledge of the f2p game market, current
    gaming trends
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, adaptability skills
  • Responsible, reliable and proactive
  • Grasp of test-driven development concepts
  • Solid knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, etc.)
